To the public, Hawks is the breezy, hyper-competent No. 2 hero who fast-tracked his way to the top. To the Hero Public Safety Commission, he is their perfect, unquestioning weapon.
But when a slip-up during a work-study session alerts Tokoyami and by extension Aizawa to the true, chilling depth of Hawks' childhood conditioning, UA decides to step in. They aren't asking Hawks to run away or destroy his life like Lady Nagant did, they are offering him the legal and political leverage to dismantle the HPSC from the inside out. First, however, they have to convince the fastest hero alive to do the hardest thing imaginable: sit still, face the truth, and finally allow himself to rest.

Summary
The ear-piercing scream echoes and Tsunagu barely reacts in time to catch Hawks and the civilian screaming in his arms.
Tsunagu catches hold of the threads of their clothes-- only the woman is wearing denim, none to be found in Hawks’ hero costume, he’d have to remedy that in some way-- and slows their descent. Once on the ground, Tsunagu sees out of the corner of his eye that the civilian stumbles to her feet.
Hawks does not get up.
Or, Hawks gets hit with a de-aging quirk. Tsunagu finds himself in the custody of a five-year-old version of his friend.
