Summary
It’s been a long, long time
Since I’ve memorized your face
It’s been four hours now
Since I’ve wandered through your placeAnd when I sleep on your couch
I feel very safe
And when you bring the blankets
I cover up my faceJungkook and Jimin have been friends with benefits for months. It's convenient, it's easy, and it's definitely not complicated. Until Jimin ends things, saying he wants more than just a hookup. Jungkook tells himself he's fine with it— except he can't stop thinking about him, and he's pretty sure he's not supposed to feel this way about his best friend. Summary
In the courtroom, Park Jimin defends the little guy. He's regularly toe to toe with juggernaut entertainment companies and conglomerates and public figures, defending victims who he's sure have been wronged.
Then a letter arrives addressed to him at his office.
It's written in pencil on prison stationery. The tone of the letter is jaded with a misplaced touch of hope. And it's signed by prisoner #1310 - Jeon Jeongguk, the former pride of South Korea, a superstar idol who was convicted of an open-and-shut case of triple homicide.
And he wants to meet Jimin to discuss his case.

Summary
Hoseok is glowing with relief, all the exhaustion that had been written all over him before completely washed away. “I thought I’d stay until you woke up, and Jungkookie came to keep me company.”
“Jungkook…” Jimin repeats, voice low as if Jungkook wouldn’t hear him. “Is it…a friend of yours?”
Hoseok’s face goes slack. “Jimin-ah, you know Jungkook.”
Jimin turns to stare at him again. Jungkook sees him try to place him. He sees him fail.
Or: After losing a chunk of memory, Jimin needs to be looked after. With everyone else knee-deep in adult responsibilities, it falls to Jungkook to take care of Jimin until they know what's wrong—even if Jimin has completely forgotten him.
