Macaque and Wukong could only tolerate the other in one of two ways: violently or sexually. Sometimes both. Their agreement was just another way for the both of them to blow off some steam, so long as they kept it hush-hush. That's all it was- sex and nothing more.
Until they end up feeling things they shouldn't.

“Well,” Macaque starts slowly, “you said you were open to a… threesome, right? If we found someone that would work.”
Wukong blinks back his surprise and shares a befuddled glance with the clone. “W–Uh, yeah? If we agreed on a number three, yeah.”
“I’m just saying, we kind of have a perfect third right here.”
Or, Macaque has a suggestion to make. ‘Wukong’ is more than happy to oblige, but Wukong hasn’t quite figured out how he feels.

The boat creaked and groaned, protesting against the weight upon it and the battle pursuing on her deck. Wukong pierced through the fight, around sharp cutlasses and flintlock pistols. As he made his way back towards the abaft, an emptiness rang in his ears, and that’s when he knew.
Instinctively, he looked up.
From atop the mizzenmast dropped a shadow, blurred and black and rapid in its descent, until it collided with the deck, shaking the floorboards. Wukong’s knuckles bleed white.
Then stood a dark astral monkey, eyes gleaming and beguiled, flamboyant feathers on his hat settling from the fall.
“ Macaque .”
