It’s happened before: Jaskier cursed by a past lover to experience for himself the ache of unrequited love. Once, memorably, for a donkey, who was impervious to all the bard’s serenades and compliments, and shat on his favourite pair of boots. The irony of today’s particular curse is that Jaskier’s ‘love’ isn’t actually unrequited. Presumably, though, Lady Freckletits and her sister thought it would be funny to see Jaskier scorned and rejected by the stoic, emotionless witcher he insists on following around.

Fawcett is an odd place, like really odd actually. (What do you mean anvils fall from the sky?) Billy doesn’t really see what’s so weird about it, (yeah of course the locals sometimes talk in 1960s lingo, is it not the 1960s?) Apparently the answer to the last question is yes, because in everywhere other than Fawcett the date proudly reads; 2010. It was a comical lineup they had, Grievous standing in the middle of the cross section acting as an early warning, Obi-Wan hanging around the edge of the corner as guard, Anakin pressed behind him, and Ahsoka trailing up their rear, keeping an eye out for any surprises following them. "Anyone want to explain why we're teaming up with General Clanker?"
"I'm not a droid," Grievous said from the hallway, finally stepping forward, and not even bothering to wave them through to signal it was clear before they followed. "So your insult does not apply to me."
"Oh, I'm so sorry," Anakin whispered sarcastically. "Would you prefer I find a better one?"Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Ahsoka are taken prisoner by the Separatists. While locked up and considering their options, the last face Anakin expects their rescue to come in the form of is General Grievous himself.
