"Cahara sagged against the wall. Letting his head thump back against the cold stone, not wanting to go on anymore. Resting his head on his hand, balancing one of his arms on his knees. For a moment, he just took in the sight of her furrowed brow and listened to the mundane sound of turning pages and her occasional muttering. Eventually her flipping stopped, and she leaned closer to inspect one of the pages more closely, fingers tracing along lines of the text. "Find anything useful?" He asked, his voice sounding hoarse even to his own ears. Cahara raised his brow when she quickly glanced up at him and back down at the book. "Don’t sacrifice me to one of the old gods just yet." He joked wearily as he made his way over to her to see what piqued D'arce's interest. "

Neither Cahara nor D'arce admittedly were very familiar with rituals or magic of the old gods, but when the opportunity arises to restore their health and sanity with one, they take it. Over and over again.
Or five times they misunderstand what it means to perform a ritual for Sylvian, and one time they learn the truth.
