Summary
Even seasoned Shakespeare scholars are often puzzled when you mention the Three Outlanders of Kalokairi. It's considered one of his most obscure works, yet it follows a similar structure to his other plays-- miscommunication, a comedic plot ending in a big wedding, big choruses of talented singers, and plenty of mirthful jests. Another thing that a lot of people don't know is that the famous 2008 movie, Mamma Mia, happens to be directly inspired by this tale. Dear friends, I have worked hard to recover all of the original text of Three Outlanders (it wasn't easy-- let's just say that Shakespeare's ghost is not a chatty one), and I am delighted to share my findings.
All this to say-- here is my line-by-line translation of Mamma Mia (2008) into Elizabethan English. No AI, no online translators, just pure autistic nerdery. Enjoy!

"He leaves the encampment from the way he came in, passing Apollo and making his way out to the main street. Sure enough, there’s an Aldecaldo truck waiting, back gate slid open. He gently lays Trevor’s body down and steps back, watching the automatic gate slide close and the truck take off.
Johnny materializes next to the disused bus stop. “Well, there ya go.”
Sparing him a glance, V takes a seat on one of the concrete benches, already exhausted, his heart heavy. “Just a fuckin’ kid,” he whispers. He’s expecting Johnny to blip out of existence which is why it startles the shit out of him when the rocker sits down next to him – close, too, their shoulders brushing."

"C'mon V, how about a whole day for me?" Johnny asks nonchalantly, his figurative body leaning on the railing of the terrace while the colors of the sunset intermingle with the cybernetic hallucination.
V doesn’t answer immediately; it seemed that that conversation had already happened at least seven times, just this week. Silverhand could be a lot of things, but unenthusiastic of his will? Never, for V's dismay.
"So you can turn me into an ashtray?" V finally gives in to the conversation. "Hell no."
