    When Luz chased the owl into the abandoned shack, she had not been expecting to find herself in a completely different realm, surrounded by creatures she had only imagined ever existed in fantasy books. That experience itself was already overwhelming but her situation was not helped by the boy who greeted her upon her arrival, insisting on being an annoying thorn in her side the whole time she was there.

    Luckily, Luz was stubborn and determined and she was going to do anything to figure out his whole deal and make him her friend. It would probably be a lot easier if there wasn't something weird going on with him though.

    Between picking up the pieces in the wake of the Day Of Unity and its aftermath, reconnecting with Raine, helping King come to terms with his newfound identity and being there for Luz as she navigates a life split between the Boiling Isles and Connecticut, Eda Clawthorne has a lot on her plate.

    Taking on another, seemingly-impossible project at this point, especially one that seems particularly ill-advised, is probably not the wisest decision. But then, Eda has never been one to take the easy path in life.

    And she made a promise.

    AKA - The one where Eda takes it upon herself to give The Collector a second chance, and faces the challenges that go along with it.
