    A young man entered the cafe at speed, wild-eyed and panting. He locked eyes with Suguru and a moment later had vaulted over the counter and crouched at his feet, back pressed against the bar.

    Suguru watched this happen with the vague detachment of the extremely overtired. He thought absently that it was lucky he’d cleaned up the drinks or they would have impeded what had been a rather impressive hurdle. The athlete in question was looking up at him with the most stunning blue eyes he’d ever seen.

    He looked fucking terrified.

    In which Gojo Satoru seeks shelter in a 24-hour cafe, but that pretty barista might be more than he bargained for.

    “You’re an omega. A special grade at that. The higher ups are aware of this,” Yaga said. “They see you as…valuable. Sometimes jujutsu clans— especially the older, more traditional ones— can be a bit… particular when it comes to omegas. They like to stake a claim for…many reasons.”

    He didn’t need Yaga to specify what he meant. The implications were clear to him— clans would view him as a tool— as a womb— not just for his technique… but to further their lineage.

    All he knew was he didn’t want to be anyone’s tool.

    Being a Jujutsu Sorcerer is dangerous. But being an omega sorcerer comes with vulnerabilities Suguru Geto would rather not acknowledge.

    Then he meets Satoru Gojo. And what starts off as an unlikely friendship eventually grows into something deeper. Something Suguru isn’t always ready to admit or accept, much to Satoru’s chagrin.

    Or, an omegaverse rewrite following Satoru and Suguru from their first meeting in high school onwards. And for some reason, it makes all the difference.

    For years, Megumi worked hard to become an EMT and carve his own path through the Emergency Medical Services world, outside of his father's reputation and Gojo's connections. All he asked was not to be housed at a firehouse, with firefighters. Apparently, that was too much to ask for.

    Megumi can't stand firefighters. His new EMT job leaves him working with a particularly cocky, arrogant, ironically smoking-hot one named Ryomen Sukuna.
