The swing rocks repetitively back and forth, his chest clenched tightly to avoid the incoming tears. He manages to inhale slowly, then exhale even slower until everything dulls down to numbness, like a piece of him had been ripped out and there was only a shell left. Mike just wants it to end, every twinge of this aching pain to subside. He thinks back to the quarry – selfishly, he wishes El wouldn’t have saved him. At least he wouldn’t have to be faced with this.
And suddenly, there was wind, swooping him out of his thoughts, ruffling his hair and making the old swings let out a long ‘creeaak’.
“Mike?” A voice whispers softly, familiarly. He would recognize it from anywhere.

Full summary:
Anakin has been avoiding Obi-Wan ever since he faked his death on the Hardeen mission. It turns out, however, that avoiding Obi-Wan has been a bit too easy: Anakin's old master has gone missing on a mission far away. Traveling to the very distant planet of Pagora, Anakin intends to rescue Obi-Wan. But the journey is long, and when he gets there, he finds that Pagora has a thing or two in common with Zygerria and Tattooine.Meanwhile, Obi-Wan is struggling as he finds himself once again captured on a slave-planet. However, unlike on Kadavo, help is not around the corner. The Jedi temple is weeks away, if they can even afford to send help this far out... Can Obi-Wan escape before the cruel slave facility on Pagora breaks his will? Will he complete his mission to find a secret Pagoran Force weapon?
Will Anakin find him in time, and can this adventure mend their fraying bond?

Summary
Phil Lester has always been acutely aware of the ways he and his daemon Adra are different from others. Namely that Adra is male, hasn’t settled yet, and they share second sight that causes them to have dreams that show them glimpses of the future. Now, as a consequence of one of his prophetic dreams, he’s forced to go on a rescue mission to find a group of children that have gone missing from his town. He may have signed up for more than he bargained for, however, when they find another man who’s been captured with some differences of his own.
