Summary
Kate Bishop was the young phenom making waves across the United States. When her contract ran out with the Washington Spirit. It seemed like a it was a non-brainer that Kate would continue on and dominate the NWSL. However, in need of a change, Kate decides to take the leap and move across the pond and take on the WSL along with its many challenges, which include a new country, a volatile team and small blond Russian whole will change Kate's life for the better.
At the same time, Yelena Belova is slowly and surely becoming a club legend in the eyes of the fans. With some major shake ups after a less than stellar season, thing's are changing rather quickly for Yelena who sees her friends leave the club and her sister now arriving as the manager. As newcomers make their way in, one in particular stands out, Kate Bishop. As sparks fly between these two players, will love stand the season.
This is a story of football (or Soccer if you are American). I'm kinda working out my teams as I'm going along so tags may potentially change as a warning while I'm in the writing process but I thought I'd drop a chapter just to seek to advice in terms of how people may see players (See notes)

Summary
When Yelena was 6 years old she only had Natasha and Natasha only had her. So it's a little strange to see Natasha, 20 years later, with what Natasha calls a family but Yelena sees as a large dysfunctional group. But she's here whether she wants to be or not. So she might as well embrace it. But it's definitely not because of the tall charismatic bartender who happens to be the only one Yelena tolerates.

Yelena moves in with Natasha after an attempt and her struggling alcohol addiction and just so happens to meet Natasha's new found family and bartender Kate Bishop who teaches Yelena a new meaning to the word temptation.

“We do as I say. You stay behind me and you stay quiet.”
“Perfect. It’s a deal.” She extended her hand, and Yelena didn’t wait a second before taking it.

Five times Kate and Yelena end up hurt and, consequently, patching each other up. Plus one time they don’t get hurt at all.

Yelena has spent a long time waking up-waking up from the trance of being a widow, waking up after being dust for five years, and waking up without her reproductive organs...something she may not have necessarily wanted to use,but may have wanted anyways.
Now she is waking up to the fact that after the battle of the Thunderbolts, visiting Kate in New York is nice. Kate is pleasant and strong and has a cute dog, and her hair smells nice...And dammit, Yelena is not completely comfortable with the feelings the archer is evoking.
Between Bucky and Walker trying to be her wingmen, Bob offering quiet encouragement, and Kate being ridiculously patient, Yelena slowly wakes up into the possibilities she didn't know were available to her.

Yelena comes back after Hawkeye. Kate comes back after Thunderbolts*. Over the course of about three years, they fall in love.
