Summary

Summary
Twelve year old Ana has been on the run for as long as she can remember. Moving from compound to compound with her father, she knows she is meant to do important things. At least, that's what she's constantly told by Freysa and her teachers. But amidst the unending threats that force her to relocate constantly, and having to see her father less and less as a result, she finds solace in her memory weaver that allows her to envision a life of peace instead of chaos.
At the same time, in a box in a city tucked away, KD6-3.7.1 has reached his twelfth developmental milestone and is finally ready to begin field operations in tandem with the LAPD and the Wallace Corporation. The goal of his experiment being to foster more psychologically resilient runners, he has never left the confines of his living accommodations and must rely on the guidance of his Lieutenant and overseer as he begins to fulfill the role he's been constantly told he will serve. To help him with acclimating to this change a digital persona has been permitted to guide him in the conversational and social skills that thus far allude him.
And at a time, in a place, the two discover the puzzling existence of one another other.
