Once they’re looking in the correct direction, the clock is immediately and easily visible, flashing bright red in the otherwise dark room from a pile of broken-down crates. Two minutes. Plenty of time.
“Got it.” Jason says, moving swiftly, his boots barely making noise against the concrete floor. Even though they're alone in the warehouse, he still moves with a trained silence. He holsters his weapon. “You should all clear out, just in case.”

The large door opened with a creak that echoed through the wasteland. Loki froze, his hand resting over his chest, he could feel his heart pounding against his palm.
She leaned against the door frame, “Oh, so now you want to talk. Weren’t you trying to kill me a few months ago?”
Loki bit his tongue, he probably should have thought about this more.

After Thanos raided the Statesmen, the roles were reversed. Loki survived and Thor did not... Now half the universe is gone and Loki has spent the couple of weeks silently mourning with the other surviving Avengers, he finally decides it's time to visit someone he's been meaning to for a while now... his mother. The Goddess of Death.
Who, yeah, he tried to kill a few months prior. Whoops.

Shane's breath catches on a sob, and he muffles the sound with his hand. Everything feels like too much. He’s naked, and he can feel entirely too much on his body, inside his body, and he hates how it's starting to feel gross. His head is pounding, and he can't even focus on placating his mind when his lungs are also screaming in his throat for breath.
Ilya hears, and his hands reach out to hold Shane, tension lying in every part of his body. “Shane—”
“Don't touch me,” Shane snaps, more desperation than yelling as he rips his arm out of Ilyas's grasp. His tears have nowhere to go now, and they finally spill over, hot and humiliating, down his cheeks.
Ilya freezes in place, hand hovering mid-air. A myriad of emotions flicker across his face: confusion, hurt, fear. Ilya takes an unconscious step back like someone shoved him. His body curls in on itself, trying to make himself appear smaller.
He looks... terrified. Like, Shane just called him a monster, and he believes it.
OR: inspired by the fight in the long game when ilya had told shane he could have sex with other men because he did not believe in cheating.

And then the room tilts. His vision narrows, red light smearing into pink and white streaks. Shane staggers. The beer slips from his fingers. It shatters, foam splashing his shoes, glass skittering away. His knees give out like someone kicked him, and his hands shoot forward to hold himself upright.
His left palm lands in broken glass, though he doesn't feel it. What he notices is the certainty that everyone sees, that they can smell him—something sour and wrong. His scent, despite patches and care, has turned exposed.
OR: What if we took the club scene from episode 4 and had Shane collapse from experiencing Omega Rejection Syndrome after seeing Ilya dancing with someone else?
