This is for the 2026 MCYT Platonic Heroes event. The lovely Dill (DillVanAster on ao3 and dillvonaster on Tumblr) did some GREAT art and helped develop this au. They are amazing, and a great first partner. The prompt we used was "Chocolate Shop". I really like this au, so it may continue after the event ends. Marked teen and up for future angst.

After winning Limited life, Martyn is transported to a celebration for his win. He gets hit with memories of everything that happened involving him in all the life games. Little does he know, he is one of only 4 people who have this knowledge. He thinks everyone knows and blames him. No-one remembers

Scott lives in New York City, and has been stressed with his job as a fashion designer. After getting fired, he gets a letter telling him he needs to return home after his grandfather dies, right in time for the holiday season. Now having to stay in his childhood home for 20, will he learn to enjoy the small town start a relationship with the cute bookstore worker/diner waiter, or will the flashbacks to his past swallow him whole?
