    As he turned it in his hands, he noticed the lettering around the circumference of the circle. He tried to sound out what could be written. “LASSTO? ASSTOL?” He was squinting at it harder, the writing seemed far too neat to have been his own, but who else would write something so nonsensical?

    “STOLAS– What the fuck!” As the word left his mouth, the paper burst into blue flames. Burning out so fast, it had disappeared entirely before reaching the ground when Blitzø instinctively dropped it.

    His heart raced wildly, and some primal part of Blitzø was terrified. Suddenly, the church seemed to close in. Too dark, the shadows were shifting deliberately, pressing in. An errant thought crossed his mind that any monsters hiding within would soon consume him.

    Blitzø lives a quiet life as a small-town priest—until he accidentally summons a demon. Prince Stolas of the Ars Goetia claims they met as children and that Blitzø made a promise he's come to collect. Now, with an alluring demon in his home and temptation growing stronger by the day, Blitzø finds his vows put to the ultimate test.

    Blitzø's heart is pounding. They're toeing a line here, one they've been dancing around for a year, and he's so tired of pretending.

    And then Stolas swipes his thumb across Blitzø’s knee where his hand is resting, casual. Possessive. Sweet with an ache that twists the very breath in his lungs.

    "Tell me to stop," Blitzø says, and his voice comes out rougher than he intended. "If you want me to stop."

    Stolas tilts his head up, and his eyes are molten red in the Sinsmas lights, and he's so close Blitzø can feel his breath. Smell the ginger and alcohol, and the sweetness that he remembers the flavor of even after all this time.

    "I don't," Stolas breathes, somehow already sounding a little wrecked. "I really, really don't."

    Blitzø is a Tiny imp— four inches tall, give or take.

    After his family's Tiny Circus burned down, he managed to get a gig as a purse imp for a royal Goetia, Lady Stella. But that shit sucked, so he bailed. Now he's secretly living in the walls of his former employer's palace, low-key making a hobby of spying on her very pretty husband.

    Prince Stolas is giant, and hot, and magical, but he's got a lot going on. Like being giant, and married, and stressed the fuck out about a ball or something. Oh, and caring for his toddler, Octavia, all by himself.

    When Blitzø finds out Stolas has a spell that could potentially make him grow Big, he naturally tries to steal it, straight out of that fancy-ass magic book. And when Stolas catches him at it, he offers Blitzø a deal: help look after Octavia until the day of the ball, and Stolas will help him access the spell, long-term, and they'll go their separate ways.

    Easiest gig ever! As long as no pesky feelings get in the way...
