Peter was fractured. Grief. It's a monster that lies dormant in the darkest quarters of your mind, and it had finally grown too big. Without any support left to hold Peter up, the world of drugs dug its claws into him. And it was slowly killing him, like a sickly sweet poison that dulled the pain while quietly feeding on his soul. He was powerless to stop it. He was too tired to stop it.
Tony was doing pretty good. Aside from having died, he was doing pretty good. He'd never expected to get his life back, but he was thankful for the second chance. Unfortunately, Tony was quick to discover that the kid had all but lost his own life. It felt like a knife slowly twisting into his chest every time he saw the kid hurting. Now Tony wasn't exactly the poster-child for a good emotional support figure, but he wasn't about to sit back and let this continue. No matter how hard the kid fought him, no matter how much resistance he was met with, Tony would help the kid. Still, he couldn't help the fear that laced his blood.
Tony couldn't help but question whether he would be able to save Peter from the weight of grief.

Odin knew sitting on his throne to watch Loki in his cell was cowardly, that if he wanted answers he should go to Loki in person to ask, Loki was still his child... but how could he face his child after all that had happened.
How could he ask Loki why he had done the things he had done when all he wanted to ask was when Loki had stopped knowing Odin loved him more than the stars in the sky?

Odin is at a loss trying to understand why his son changed so drastically in the time he was gone, where the smug, grandstanding malice came from, and what could possibly be driving it. Loki gives them no clues, until, by pure chance, he overhears a conversation that changes everything. There's a creature in Loki's cell, all scorn and honeyed threats, and he has proof that Loki is innocent, the missing piece to the puzzle.

Summary

People keep coming up to Kaveh to congratulate him. Kaveh doesn’t really know why, and he’s a little too scared to ask at this point, so he heads back home, content if not a little bemused.
He is, unfortunately, reminded of it the very next day, when the door slams open and Al-Haitham stalks in. “Mind telling me why everyone was congratulating me today?” he demands. “About your pregnancy?"
Or: Al-Haitham is, without a doubt, the most annoying person Kaveh knows. Maybe the world’s second-most annoying person can help Kaveh figure him out.
