Lottie can pinpoint the exact day her life changed forever. Before this day, things had only been weird or fucked up in her periphary. But everything started rapidly going sideways on June 29th, 1985.
The day that Dustin comes back from Camp Know-whatever.
Now, she doesn't see Dustin until the 30th, but it’s what happened on the 29th that starts her personal spiral into what-the-fuck.

Summary
Marie Harrington gives birth to a baby girl three hours into the new year; precisely three hundred and sixty-nine days since the last time she gave birth. Steven Harrington, one year and four days old, is fast asleep in the waiting room being watched over by the night-shift nurses. Richard Harrington is in Los Angeles. Marie, Steven, and the baby soon to be named Charlotte Rose are in Buffalo, New York.
When Marie found out she was pregnant again, she said it was a miracle because it ‘feels like my husband is never home’.
Richard doesn't come back to Buffalo for another two weeks. During this time, Steven, left to his own devices more often than not, takes a tumble down the stairs in their well-appointed home and hits his head.
Richard tells the exhausted Marie to hire a nanny.
She does. She never really wanted children anyway.Part one of my Stranger Things fic that basically answers the question: what if Steve had a sister?
