Summary
Lynette believed she never asked for too much. She was raised in a subpar environment given subpar things and she didn’t complain, didn’t ask for more. Remaining content in what she had was something she was proud of herself for, because she can grit her teeth and be useful no matter what she experienced.
It only stung more, with how her father’s gaze was taken by someone so privileged, so… spoiled. With the connection she holds so dearly in her heart severed so quickly and coldly, she stumbled, blind and in pain.
