Fine, Fine Line was my favourite story to write and, six months on, it remains the story I'm most proud of. There are so many new fans/readers now, who weren't around back in July, so to celebrate its six month (!) anniversary, I've written an epilogue. Set six months after the fake dating adventure, Carla is turning 50 and Lisa is throwing her a not-so-secret party.I hope you all enjoy seeing what Carla, Lisa and Betsy are up to, six months after fake dating brought them together. And, new readers, I hope you enjoy the whole thing!

She’s spent so long fighting a brain that seems to work against her. Being tormented as she overthinks every word, every action, constantly chasing some sense of worthiness that's always just out of reach.
And she's so tired of it all.
So tonight, she doesn't want to have to choose what to be, what to do.
She doesn't want to have to think at all.
She wants that control to be ripped from her grasp. Wants instead to place her mind entirely in Carla's hands, to let herself be unravelled till she knows nothing but her. She needs to let go of everything else, to become suggestible and pliant for Carla to shape however she pleases, to be taken however she wishes. Until she knows she's exactly what Carla wants — until there's no more room for doubt.
Until she's good.
(Or: Set after Carla goes to visit Lisa in her office in the 25/06/25 episode, Lisa plans an evening taking care of Carla, and Carla finds a way to take care of her in return - an exploration of Lisa's need to be useful, her struggles with letting Carla in, and most importantly, her praise kink.)

“Is my baby wanting some quality time with Daddy?” he asks, reading Grian like an open book.
Grian nods, looking away. He feels shy and squirmy all of a sudden, hand coming up to his mouth, thumb ready to get sucked on. Scar bats it away before he can get a chance to, shoving a pacifier in his mouth instead. Grian doesn’t know where he got that, but at the moment he can only be grateful.

We follow the sister's attempts at clumsy rebellion, hindered by the fact that she suffers from a form of "Cassandra's curse" in that the more she insists she's not a bedwetter, the more everyone in her life believes she is, and is just ashamed of it.
