Summary
Desmond glanced at the time and did some quick mental math, then swore under his breath when he realized just how late it was for Shaun.
"Shit, baby, I forgot it was the middle of the night for you," he said guiltily. He'd been too preoccupied with his own boredom to remember the number of time zones between them.
"That's alright," Shaun said, even though it definitely wasn't. "I knew you'd figure it out eventually. I was working anyway, and I could use a distraction, frankly."
Desmond smiled, despite everything. God, it felt good to hear Shaun's voice. Anyone's voice, really, but Shaun's especially. "So you're not going to make fun of me for being too self-absorbed to remember how time works?"
"I would, normally, but I haven't seen you for over a week and I'm tired, so you get uncharacteristically-nice-Shaun for now. No promises if you start calling me every day, though."
Desmond gets stranded in a safehouse by a storm and calls Shaun for some company. To the surprise of absolutely no one, they get horny about it.

Summary
“Not criticising you,” Desmond said. “Just noting that next time we’ll go a bit lighter on the compounds especially.”
“You’re implying that there will be a next time.” Shaun kept his eyes closed and his body very still. “If you ever so much as think about making me do another lunge again I’ll haunt you in your sleep.”
Desmond laughed again. He was silent for a few moments, a silence Shaun knew meant he was forming a thought, and then:
“You know, I could try and help with the soreness.”
Shaun's sore from a workout, and then his thigh cramps. Good thing Desmond is right there to ease the pain. One thing leads, somewhat inevitably, to another.

Summary
Cole toppled a government or two, caused a few explosions, murdered more bad guys than he can count, and probably a few innocents too. He caused more collateral damage — ruined more lives — than he’ll ever account for, and the world didn’t change a bit. He did his time, and he’s not going back.
Too bad Overwatch doesn’t want to take no for an answer.

Summary
The invitation to the ball, however glittery, had clearly been out of politeness or obligation rather than any particular interest in Rolan as a wizard. Of course it had. Rolan should have guessed so from the start.
Well, bollocks to this, and bollocks to the lot of them. Rolan doesn’t need to rub elbows and eat bad canapés to know he’s better at magic than half the people here. Fireballing the party might be concerned impolite, so if he takes the Blackstaff portal back to Baldur’s Gate now, he can be home in time for Lia to save him some dinner.
He chugs the last of the flat wine, places his half-eaten pastry thing on Mordenkainen’s toe, and turns to leave. Which, of course, means he immediately walks into Gale Dekarios.

Summary
The first thing he sees is the steaming breakfast in front of him. The next is Gale of Waterdeep.
“Not you,” Rolan groans.
Or, an Act II remix where Gale and Rolan can't escape each other's orbit.
