    Summary

Tamar dreams of sunlight and laughter — a field of wildflowers, Mary and Ramah beside her, and Jesus’s voice calm as a river. But when the light fades, everyone she loves begins to vanish, until even He looks through her as if she were never known. The nightmare leaves her calling out into silence that doesn’t answer back.

Waking by the campfire with Big James beside her, Tamar struggles to shake the echo of being unseen. Her dream reflects her deepest fear — that her belonging, her redemption, and even God’s love could be taken away. But as James listens and quietly brews tea for her beneath the stars, she begins to remember: silence isn’t abandonment, and she was never forgotten.

    Summary

Luke rises from the waters of Trikrena, witnessed by nymphs who call him a blessing and summon Hermes to witness the result of his spilled ichor.

In Athens, the gods witness a miracle of their own: Percy and Annabeth, born together in a burst of water and divinity.

Three miracles are born that night.

    Only one of them runs.

    Summary

Myth says Hermes lulled Argus Panoptes to sleep, then killed him without a fight.

    Myth is wrong.

Argus wakes. He gets one good hit in before Hermes ends him for it, and gods don’t bleed for nothing. When Hermes washes the ichor from his skin at Trikrena, the spring where the nymphs first bathed him, something in the water answers back.

Somewhere else, Luke is dying with a Titan screaming inside his skull.

    ———

Hermes never had a son who remembers dying

    Summary

In the aftermath, a thousand and one deaths flash before his eyes, and Ares feels them all. Every sword. Every spear. Every knife.

Over and over again, he breathes his last breath, sometimes at the hands of another soldier and sometimes at the hands of himself. He stares at his own face, caked in blood and viscera, and hates himself for loving it.

War is his vice of choice. It is his lover. His best friend. His worst enemy. He hates to love it, but no matter how he tries, he can’t seem to escape its clutches.

He’s not quite sure if he really wants to.

    - - -

It’s ironic, isn’t it? Ares hates all of Poseidon’s children with a vengeful fury, and yet, in this new world of Christianity and Capitalism, Perseus Fucking Jackson is the closest thing he has to a priest.

    Summary

Nico, he thinks just mere moments before Hazel can say it, that’s Nico.

    Then, he’s important.

“Pleased to meet you,” and even his voice is familiar, “I’m Nico di Angelo.”

The air thrums with energy around them and it feels like coming home.

“Ask me again,” Nico says and Percy blinks, “Ask me again when you have your memories back.”

    “I will.”
