The smell of paint captured Xaden's attention, that strange girl who had saved them smelled of paint, a lingering trail, subtle, but unmistakable, he watched her once more curiously, his onyx gaze roaming over her, looking for any clue as to who she was. Her hands looked delicate, there he discovered the trail of colors staining her skin, an artist he supposed.
He notice flowers in her hair, her posture, her bright gaze, the way she smiled it was with such grace that it tightened his chest. Without any expectation the girl extended a flower toward him.
“Here” The simple act left him unsettled, almost still as a statue, disbelief and surprise clouding his features. Such a simple act and he looked like a child. His scowl and cold stare, the one he was already so comfortable with, seems to slip for a second
Who the hell was that girl?
“There you are.” she mutters with a smile, as if she had gotten what she wanted. Leaving him standing there, with the damn flower in his hand.
And he hates it. She couldn't be so many colors when his life was completely gray

Life's good. Until she realises that she hasn't just been reincarnated. But she's now in a book. A great but terrible book, that she never finished. Fulll of love, death and war.
In any other situation, she'd ignore everything and everyone. But she has a conscious. Disappointing.
So now, she plots. But she's never been much of a plotter.

Summary
Comfort books are books that have been read cover to cover. The spine worn, yet cared for. The pages long lost the new book smell. Fans have merchandise, a bag, a shirt, a sticker, or whatever they can buy or craft with their hands. Series read multiple times in different sittings to catch more details, to see the foreshadowing in its highlighted glory. Fourth Wing was that series. A world of dragons and magic. Romance surrounded by tragedies with the hope of the chosen one saving the world for good. Which characters could have lived? Which ones needed to die? Which ones never stood a chance? It was silly, thinking of ways they could have been saved. Until she woke up before its beginning. Now she’s determined to save who she can.

Summary
Violet and Lucia Sorrengail, twin sisters and best friends, have to try and survive their mother’s decision of them going to the Rider’s Quadrant, but across the parapet, Violet gets smuggled to the Scribe's. Lucia has to get her back before their mother finds out.
And also in this story, Tyrrish is Gaelic, idk, it makes sense.

Basgiath is grittier and the consequences of a war college are taken seriously. Iron Squad is prominent and everyone gets a fair bit of screentime. OC arrives with hazy-at-best world knowledge.
