Summary
A Eridian scout ship finds an injured human and returns him to Erid. Doctor Ryland Grace is initially excited by the prospect of another human being! But after a catastrophically failed first encounter where Ryland tries to save this newcomer's life as the expense of any trust, they must learn relearn to trust each other.
---
“If you leave,” Ryland pulled himself to his knees, “You’ll die.” He pressed his hands to his knees and stood to his full height. He lunged again, driving the stranger’s body into the wall. A pained roar echoed off the walls and threatened to drown out all else. A fist connecting with the side of his head. His vision blackened, vignetted at the edges. Grace screamed an answering roar of his own. Before his legs gave out, he dug in his heels, struggling against the man fighting for his life against him.

Summary
Colt didn’t realize that having Driver meant learning to share with a fucking car, but here they are.
Grease smeared across the long, lean stretch of Driver’s torso, marring the pale skin into a Rorschach. The back bench of the Malibu was thick with the scent of engine oil and polish and sex. The engine thrummed, the smooth purr of it reverberating throughout his entire body. Sprawled out in the backseat, he feels it everywhere, head to toe. The only thing Driver can focus on is the thrum beneath the back cabin seats, the slick clinging to his thighs, the lingering taste of the Malibu on his tongue.
“Uhm… am I interrupting?” Colt says, lip twitching with the beginnings of a smirk.

Summary
During their journey back to Erid, Grace and Rocky find themselves in a starless void. At first they assume there must be a scientific explanation, but when they find a man welded into a submarine they realize things are far worse than they imagined.
---
Grace wakes to the sound of Mary and Rocky talking over each other. Blinking away the haze of sleep, Grace groans as he tries to focus on understanding what the heck is going on. Given Rocky’s voice is both closer and louder, his brain parses what he’s saying first.
“Grace, what’s that mean, question? What’s going on, question?”
Ok, not the most helpful. Sitting up, sleep properly leaves Grace’s mind as he listens to the message on the overhead.
“Forward star detection, lost. Aft star detection, lost. Starboard star detection, lost. Port star detection, lost. Ventral star detection, lost. Dorsal star detection, lost. Autopilot offline.” Mary says, repeating the message.
The exterior cameras on the Hail Mary use the positions of the stars around it to calculate it’s own position. That’s how the autopilot knows when to make course corrections.

Summary
Dazai didn’t reach for the bandages. He let his arms hang at his sides, bare and marked and sliced and unfamiliar even after all this time. Watched the way the bruises stood out against his skin, against the paler lines of old scars. The contrast was stark—new color over old absence, proof of recent heat laid across years of damage.
Possession, some quiet part of his brain supplied. Or devotion. Or want.
He didn’t flinch from the idea.
or: the night stains him violet, and in the absence of violence, even the old ghosts beneath dazai’s skin are made to go quiet.
