    Even after 1517 Cycles neither Avery nor Derek know anything more about the other than they did before.

    The loops had been cruel in the same way something that isn't human can be, with accidental carelessness. But Avery has seen D3rlord3 stare down at him as he falls towards Hell for so long he knows each word and step the man takes through his avatar by heart. And Derek has seen AverytheMayo attempts at saving him through each and every timeline, enough for him to keep his death perfectly on course as planned.

    They are both tired, and it's been so very long since any of them have truly rested; but the ending is so close Derek can taste it on his tongue in all of its crimson red and coppery taste.
    Now if only all of the connections that connect the neurons in his brain could align enough for him to pry into the near future, he would gladly punch Avery's avatar into the void and stare as he falls except the man won't let him, as always.

    And God watches, curious about the ending of a play that has rendered Time meaningless, for he has always been fond of stories such as this.

    In a time loop, a trap Ouroboros created for Merlin because of something similar to hatred, the angels realize They both want to grieve someone, even if it's not possible for them to do so.
