Summary
Alex is the top guy in the gridball team and all his teammates adore him. One day he breaks multiple bones and suffers a concussion, and he has to heal and quit playing for months.
While he’s stuck and lonely in Pelican Town, Sam and Sebastian take pity on him and invite him into their gaming sessions. Alex grows hooked on video games and starts eating the junk food they order in. He quickly grows fat and his muscle melts away.
When it’s time to go back to training he’s gained so much weight he struggles to fit into his uniform. He’s gotten too lazy and gluttonous to stick to any training regime and his old gridball bros hardly recognize him.

Summary
It starts with a weed-eater, “For trimming around my gardens, Shane.” Ilya will start up his weed-eater, solid arms yanking the pull chain back, he’ll walk around his raised garden beds and along the edges of his flower beds, carefully trimming the grass. He always does it shirtless. Shane would argue that it wasn’t appropriate dress for manual labor, but then he wouldn’t get to see Ilya’s gorgeous broad shoulders shinning with sweat. He wouldn’t get to watch the line of Ilya’s back as he lifts the shockingly heavy equipment.
A look at several summers at the cottage and Ilya's love for yard work and Shane's love for watching his husband do yard work.
