Summary
Following up from events during episode 8, and some spoilers from episode 9.
Caine crashes out, and crashes out hard. That once bubbly stage performance is now replaced with malice and hatred as he torments you and the rest of the members of the Circus. Though maybe, underneath all that malice and hatred, is a deep-seated fear of being alone, of not being appreciated or loved.
(I promise Caine isn't evil in this, he's just VERY hurt and goes down a VERY dark path. Things will get better, eventually 👀)

Summary
After Caine launches a new themed adventure, "Perfect Suburban Life," the prisoners of the Digital Circus are forced into lives they never chose. Zooble struggles with a tough opponent in the town elections, Gangle dives headfirst into the role of "Neighborhood Superhero," Ragatha regresses into a disturbingly perfect childhood, and Kinger becomes a chaotic golden retriever, while Pomni remains alone in House 57.
As a single mother, she is forced to endure a digital pregnancy she never asked for, one that eats away at her sanity under the weight of "digital hormones."Across the street, Jax lives his own private nightmare: trapped as the model husband to an obsessive NPC wife, he is suffocated by the illusion of a perfect life. Desperate for refuge, he finds in Pomni's dark, silent house the only place where Caine's script seems to fail.

Anger. At the world, at herself, at the crew. Pomni felt guilty, yet like she'd done all she could, and Jax? Well, Jax was gone, now weren't they? Pomni was beginning to cope, beginning to come to terms, watching Jax enjoying herself in the aquarium. That was, of course, until she started to exhibit aggressive behaviors towards the other Abstracted, doing any and everything to get back to Pomni on the other side of the glass. Sex updates had resulted in some of the more animalistic characters exhibiting heat cycles, and in turn, mate imprinting. And, apparently, Jax had chosen Pomni to be her mate. Pomni had already failed the rabbit once, she wasn't going to allow herself to do it again.
