    For the last year, newly-appointed Supreme Archangel Aziraphale has been working to convince himself that he made the right choice in leaving Earth to make a change in Heaven's plans to destroy the world. But when he is pulled into the Metatron's office, he is handed an unthinkable task: Kill the demon Crowley to prove he has severed ties with his Earthly desires and is loyal to The Great Plan.

    Unwilling to murder the only person he's ever cared about, Aziraphale abandons his post and returns to Earth. But finding Crowley is only half the battle - he must also convince Crowley that he is someone worth trusting, and prevent him from dying in the process.

    As Heaven grows impatient and Aziraphale searches desperately for answers, he must answer one important question: How far will an angel go to protect the man he loves?

    One week after averting apocalypse, Crowley wakes from a long nap. He had the strangest dream - a first, for him. It had felt so real. It had left him reeling. So he does what he always did when he needed a sense of stability. He talks to Aziraphale.

    But as many times as he talked to Aziraphale, there were some things he couldn't bring himself to say. Well, one thing, really. He wanted Aziraphale to know, of course, he just didn't want to be the one to say it. His dream had left him with the uncomfortable realization that leaving things left unsaid can have disastrous consequences. Crowley had had enough of disasters.

    The problem is, he still can't get the words out.
