BSD Dead apple movie rewrite with some changes to the nature of ability suicides.
People's abilities are getting corrupted driving them to despair. The sort of despair that is a part of you. An inescapable despair that pushes you towards the edge of becoming a monster. That monster you might have always been, deep down, now brought close enough to the surface to stare back at you.
Kunikida's book of ideals has turned into a black book of faults, Atsushi is becoming irreversibly more tiger-like by the day, and Yosano's butterflies are flying away.
What should one do when their strength brings the kind of despair that would make one seriously consider knowingly biting into that poisoned apple?

A question is proposed, must Justice truly be blind?
Will one act justly despite the ugly reality that stares back at them, aware of the fine line they walk and the consequences that follow them everywhere they go, or might they succumb to the weight of their decisions? Eyes are wide open he always sees more than he knows, shall he seek to shut them for his own sake? for his own safety?
Will another live their life ignorant of the truths that watch from afar or will they strive to open their eyes? What awaits them when they do, when they've realized where they've strayed? Can they correct their path, wear a new way forward?
Is there second chances? Do the dead forgive? How much is an apology worth? The Trickster brings up a lot of interesting questions...
it's a Persona 5 rewrite with alternate and added events to canon.

Summary
A famous entertainment producer Shiro Asakura grew feverish and keeled over in front of Ann during a meeting to discuss her possible future of becoming an actress. When it's confirmed that he had been poisoned, Ann is implicated in the eyes of the police as one of three of the possible suspects to his murder, the other two being Mika or Asakura's assistant Tokito. Ren is on the case with the help of some of his friends to help Ann. They work together to figure out who poisoned him and help her prove her innocence.
At least that's how it all started...

Summary
Posion Ivy reports of a new era turning in Gotham. Robin flew the coop and there's a bit of new blood is brewing in the criminal underworld. Riddler is sent to the streets on behalf of Penguin to get a feel for what this change Ivy speaks of might be and he runs into this young boy looking for his friend. The kid nags Riddler to help him and Riddler indulges him for a bit.
At least this is where it starts...
Riddler works for Penguin, Ivy eats people, Jason has a best friend, Ventriloquist has a protege, and still more to come. This is my take on the Batman universe.

"Whoa there, my man. Slow down. You're gonna pop a stitch flailing around like that," Jabber drawled, his tone stuck somewhere between his usual mania and that strange lethargy from before.
The memory of their fight had haunted Zanka for weeks. He'd played it over and over again in his head, looking for mistakes to correct and patterns to exploit. So it took him a moment to comprehend that Jabber might just have been different outside of battle.
Zanka took a sharp breath in, snapping with as much venom as he could muster, "What the fuck did you do to me?"
"I saved your ass," Jabber laughed, a sudden jarring bark that made Zanka's head spin. "You should be thanking me, Mr. Bad Attitude. Without me, you'd be dead meat."

Jabber saves a heavily injured Zanka after a job gone wrong. They have to make it back to civilization without tearing each other apart. Zanka is miserable and feverish. Jabber is determined to keep Zanka alive for a rematch, and definitely not because the idea of him dying is oddly upsetting.

Zanka’s blind. Has been for years. Most of the Cleaners are oblivious to it, but everyone who needs to know is already aware (and Enjin Doesn’t Need To Know, RIYO—)
So, yeah, baggage there. But with Assistaff’s help his blindness is basically paperwork (it is not) so there’s no reason to tell Enjin. (Or anyone else.) Besides, their fearless team leader is busy training the new kid! No reason to bother the guy with petty bullshit from years ago. He's got too many responsibilities as-is, and honestly, Enjin probably wouldn’t even care so there's no actual point in saying—
Then Rudo finds out.
Rudo, who can barely keep his emotions in check, let alone a fucking secret.
Cue Zanka’s life immediately going to hell in a hand basket (especially once Jabber gets involved).

“Come on, Ren-kun,” Yukari nudges Ren as he slumps. “I dove into being Pink Argus with little experience myself, and I haven’t regretted it since. Maybe you’ll feel the same.”
Ren thinks about it. His life really couldn’t and shouldn’t revolve completely around the shadow world, he supposes. And he’s not obligated to do any more than this if acting doesn’t agree with him after all.
Ann’s going to freak. Futaba is going to lose her shit.
“You remember the Phantom Thieves of Hearts business a few years back?” The director asks. “It won’t be a complete one to one, but I do have to admit that this series’ plot is loosely based on it.”
Okay, now that’s just unfair. Now Ren has to take the role.
So that’s how Ren becomes a Featherman Ranger.
Or, Amamiya Ren becomes a Featherman actor, bases his character off Akechi, and the real Akechi Goro disastrously simps from afar.
