Danny couldn't seem to catch a break! No matter where he went, ghost problems always seemed to follow him. Even when he traveled 800 miles away from Amity to Gotham. And what was up with that wacky ghost bat? ...Maybe it could be his new friend?
Meanwhile, when Bruce Wayne was unexpectedly pickpocketed (and how did that happen?), he found himself turned into a giant, ghostly bat. Struggling to control his new form and abilities made retrieving his stolen possession (the root of the problem) incredibly difficult.
Yet as he followed the enterprising thieves out of Gotham City, his adoption senses started tingling. Did one of the troubled teens need somewhere safe to stay?

It started, really, when a traitor got the jump on Steve Rogers of all people, cutting through all of the defences that the Avengers thought that they had, and attacking Captain America. Then someone tried to kill Iron Man, and Captain America found that he took on the skin of a wolf when he came to his friend's defence. Only the curse isn't limited to just the Avengers - like a the very best of viral warfare, the curse starts to surge through the entire population of New York. The only link is Loki - and the curse on his son, Fenrir.
