She strides out of the elevator and through the firing squad, with entirely unearned confidence that the turrets won’t fire at her. They don’t fire at her.
After GLaDOS ejects Chell from the Enrichment Centre, she has only a meagre few months of peace and quiet before the human comes crawling back. GLaDOS doesn't immediately understand why she's back, but the scientific method has never failed her before.

Just because most of Team 7 is gone, off striving for newer and greater heights, that doesn't mean the world stops for Haruno Sakura. In a world where she doesn't apprentice to the Godaime Hokage (can't, won't, what difference does it make when the result is the same?) her desperation leads her to a different solution: keeping Team 7 alive, anyway she can.
