Summary
Levi’s life as manager of a web designing team had always been straightforward, ordinary, habitual. Nothing had managed to upset his routine; nor the long working hours nor the heavy workload, but things start to change when a new employee joins his team, a young man who offsets Levi’s predictable life with a question that forces him to face the wounds from his past.
Or, five times Eren asks Levi for a kiss and Levi refuses, and the one time Levi kisses him.

Cultural misunderstanding; in which Levi thinks it is the highest forms of praise to offer someone money to sleep with them, while Eren suffers from the spread word about him being better off as a prostitute, seeing as men and women would offer to pay him loads of golden and silver coins for an hour, for who would resist such beauty? And with Levi’s compliment/offer, it doesn't really help Eren in his dilemma…

Summary
There is a certain truth buried deep within the trenches of Eren’s bruised and battered soul, woven into him on a cellular level, intertwined and interlaced. One so terrifying, so utterly disgusting, he’s never inspected it too closely, but one he’s been aware of vaguely, detachedly, ever since he was nine with his small hands wrapped around a dull knife, covered in the blood of others and shaking uncontrollably. Not from fear, though, or terror at having gutted two human beings like pigs.
Perhaps he is wired incorrectly, the synapses in his brain skewed and queer. Perhaps he was born like that, coming out of the womb erroneous and bad, despite his mother’s words of No one gets born wrong, Eren.
Morbidly, he’s relieved that she died before she could realize what a monster he really is.
Because that’s what he is, isn’t he – a monster. A feral beast; impetuous, irascible, insatiable.

“Fuck no,” he spits, ears pinned back.
Judging by the silence that follows, that mustn’t have been what they were expecting him to say. Well, it’s the truth! He isn’t fucking ready to have his life taken away from him, shackled and owned by an alpha he hasn’t even met yet!
Mikasa sighs from beside him, shaking her head, ears flat, as she says, “Eren…”
“What? Am I supposed to be all happy and excited, oh yay, time to spend the rest of my life with some stranger!” Eren snorts, glaring down at the dress clinging to him like it’s a stain, a piece of shit on the underside of his shoes. “I want to yell in that asshole’s face to get himself a mail order bride instead!”
“Oh, that’ll be interesting…” Hange mutters, watching curiously.
