I normally avoid weak!Hermione like the plague, but this was just. Too well done.
Very well written, excellent world building in the form of intriguing hints. The Bellatrix appearance should win some sort of award. Like the 'best villainous character appearance that leaves you scared for the characters but also very much impressed and extremely curious about How exactly the villain managed this level of villany' award.
Smut and build up A+
The "weaponized competence" tag sure made a lot of sense.
