Summary
Starts pre-Serum, in which Bucky takes seriously terrible care of himself because he’s trying to stifle the feelings he keeps having for Steve. Steve gets so pissed that he flat out orders Bucky into eating and sleeping and they both quickly realize Bucky loves being ordered around, but their new-forged domestic bliss is quickly damaged by the encroaching war.

“Yes, Captain,” Bucky sasses, when he’s capable of speech again.
Steve stills. His head tilts very slightly. Not shocked, not angry. Considering.
Bucky feels adrenaline flood through his body. This little punk is ninety pounds wet, and Bucky is absolutely frozen in his chair intimidated by him.

For his eighteenth birthday, all Grantaire wants is a pony. Well, for his eighteenth birthday all Grantaire really wants is some quality makeout time with Enjolras, hopefully with very little clothing involved, but the chances of that happening are slim to none, so he has resignedly decided to settle for a pony. Or possibly a unicorn. He isn’t that picky about equines.
Instead, he gets a small European country.

One, who let Courfeyrac plan Marius' bachelor party? (Marius. Marius let him.)
Two, why the hell did Grantaire sneak out of his bed before Enjolras woke up yesterday, right after they slept together for the first time.
And three, why on earth would he get drunk, get into an argument (with Grantaire, obviously) and then get married in Vegas (guess to whom, come on and guess).

If he was a religious man, Grantaire would say that when God was distributing football talent on this current generation of players, on the first day he looked at Germany. Then he looked at Brazil. Then he looked at a lot of other teams. And on the seventh day, God looked at France and said ‘you know what, I don’t really fancy it, it’s sunday and they already have croissants, I’m going back to bed.” Clearly, no one informed Enjolras of this.
Or that one World Cup AU in which Enjolras is very good at kicking a ball around and Grantaire is very good at making footballers punch him in the face.
