He’d always believed so, even when it was but the jewel in an ensemble that had taken him by surprise and had him laughing like a madman within Haillenarte Manor moons ago.
This time he had peeled away all the frivolities, pared him down to just the essentials for the ease of his suffering health and… Gods, even when Stephanivien was bleary-eyed and half-catatonic with migraines Tedalgrinche’s heart fluttered in his chest at the mere sight of him. He touched the collar around his boyfriend’s neck, fitting a thumb between the leather and the hollow of his throat, carefully checking that it fit snugly but still provided him enough room to move about and breathe comfortably. Good.
Stephanivien de Haillenarte has a tremendous headache. Fortunately, Lord Tedalgrinche can think of a few ways to take his mind off of it.
