"What about Rudo?" He said, urgent, just a hint of a snarl. He took an aborted step forward and stopped, settling for resting his weight on one leg and jiggling the other to let out his restless energy.
"He's, shit, get BACK from him Zanka! I'm not joking!" Another indiscriminate yell, a pained sound followed by cursing. "I think he's presenting!"
He let out a sigh through clenched teeth. Well, fuck. This wasn't exactly a common occurance among the Cleaners but it wasn't exactly rare. Corvus was never picky about recruiting young, after all, and he knew Bro lived in fear of the day Dear and Gita hit that particular milestone and was hoping against hope it wouldn't happen when they were out in the field.
Like he said: he always got the shittiest luck.
"You know the procedure, Gris." He grunted, regretting putting out his cig. He should've known Rudo would turn out to be an aggressive alpha on rut-brain. He was aggressive enough when he was completely sober-minded.
"He's not an alpha!" Gris all but hollered, and Enjin's entire body locked up.
"He's-" He started to say, but Gris cut him off.
"I think he's a Prime, Enjin!"
Fuck.

Summary
They all headed in a cluster towards the trucks parked far from the battle. However, Rudo spotted a glint of metal in the corner of his eye, and he paused in his tracks. It was in a pile of trash by the lake. Rudo crouched, sticking his gloved hand into it and rummaging through.
“Whatcha' looking for?” Rudo jumped slightly, shocked at how quickly Riyo had approached him from behind.
“Just thought I saw something interesting…” Rudo said, placing a hand on the nape of his neck. Riyo’s mouth formed an “o” as she watched Rudo rummage through the trash, and perking up when he grabbed something.

“You didn’t have any holidays like this up there?” Riyo asked him, propping an elbow up on the table and leaning her face on her palm, facing him. She pointed straight up with her other hand, clearly referring to the Sphere.
“Nothing like this,” Rudo said emphatically, gesturing vaguely even though this room wasn’t decorated like the mess hall or the town. They’d get the point. “Nothing that I’ve seen with decorations like you guys have here. Nothing so…colorful. And cheerful. Everyone out there today looked so… actually happy.”
Rudo gets introduced to a Ground holiday. It is entirely different to what the word holiday has meant to him all his life.

“What are you doing?” Enjin asked loud enough that Rudo would hear him.
Rudo jumped at the sound of Enjin’s voice, his hands held out like he was about to karate-chop whoever his scarer was away. He turned around with a panicked look to his red eyes that faded at the corners when he saw it was just Enjin. Relaxing, Rudo slouched in on himself. “Don’t scare me like that, turdface,” Rudo grumbled.
“My question still stands,” Enjin said, placing an elbow on the ledge and perching his cheek on it. “What are you doing?”
“I couldn’t sleep,” Rudo admitted, sighing heavily.

Yuuji gulped as he felt his skin tingle and his hands get sweaty. Slowly, he walked towards Yuuta, his heart pounding out of his chest as everyone's gaze followed his form.
This is really scary. What's happening? Who's the person? Why is everyone staring at me like I'm not supposed to be here?
Finally, Yuuji stopped short of Yuuta and stared at the sorcerer.
"What the hell is going on, Yuuta?"
All Yuuta did was raise a slow finger and point at the TV he was previously watching. Not able to hold it in anymore, Yuuji's head swung at the TV and looked at whatever was on the screen.
This time, it was Yuuji's turn to feel his heart stop and stare in his own wide-eyed expression.
No way in hell that's who that was.
He was standing right here, watching the broadcast like everyone else.
And yet, that face was unbelievably a match to his. Even the scars were, and so the hair.
"Yuuta...How the hell am I down there right now?"
