    Tokoyami has vague memories about his past, he remembers children's faces, but not their names, he remembers his bed at the orphanage, and the many others, nestled beside his, he sometimes remembers a smiling, charismatic face when he sees sunflowers.

    Dark Shadow remembers many more things, however, they have no intention of telling Tokoyami, because it is not worth remembering, but deep down they fear that the small sparks will ignite a fire that they would not survive.

    On the other hand, Fukurai Raitori (the woman who adopted them, but who could very well be their grandmother), will never be able to forget the horrible things she was part of during her time at the orphanage.

    Or: Tokoyami and Dark Shadow are part of the group of children raised to be vessels for AFO at the orphanage.

    Or: A 46-year-old woman is complicit in the horrors of AFO, but ends up becoming fond of a crow chick and his shadow sibling.

    (This doesn't contain too much spoilers from the end of My Hero Academia, but it does contain mayor spoilers from the anime chapter #146, and the manga chapters #351, #352, # 353 {I think}).

    Tokoyami has a secret, one that he's never told anyone, not even Aizawa or Hawks. But, of course, he never planned on telling anyone. . . but then, shortly after finishing his internship with Hawks, the Pro-Hero invited him out to eat, and Tokoyami let his guard down. In a brief instance of envy, just enough to admit how he hates not being able to preen his feathers correctly.
    Then Hawks demands to know what feathers he's talking about since the ones on his head are always thoroughly cleaned and shiny.
