Dennis stares blankly at the old woman behind the counter. She taps her long red fingernails against the surface, looking the three of them up and down, waiting for one of them to respond.
Robby clears his throat in front of Dennis. “Um– are you sure that's all you’ve got left?” he pleads, "I'll pay more if I have to.”
The receptionist gives Robby an unimpressed glare, clicking her tongue at him. “There’s just the one. King bed. Bribery won’t getcha’ anywhere. Everyone's packing in for the storm, so we're full up. Sorry.” She didn’t sound apologetic at all. “Take it or leave it.”
“No, we'll take it.” Abbot jumps in, pushing past Robby with his wallet out.

Or, Dennis hitches a ride to a medical conference with his two attendings. A winter storm causes them to stop at a motel for the night. There's only one room available. You know the rest...

In the weirdest one yet, Dennis unzips at the table, and sends Robby a picture of a cheeseburger.

“Dennis, hey, can you understand me?” Robby light tapped his face, taking a seat on the bed, but he could barely see anything. Everything was going in and out. Was he dying? It was so hot. “I think you’re in heat, Dennis.”
"N-No! I'm not. You can't be here!" In hopes of getting the attending out of his room, he reached over to grab the pillow to his side, but it was nowhere to be found. Was he in his heat? That doesn’t make sense. He’s not due for his heat for another couple of weeks.
“Could this be a flash heat? Have you been overly stressed this week? Any new big changes—oh.” Robby took a step back, all the pieces forming together in his mind. The poor thing was practically shaking when he entered his home. From the background the omega had told him, he doubted he had ever received proper information on omega biology and flash heats. This poor omega in his bed is dealing with an even more extreme heat than normal.

Robby asked Dennis to move in a week before he left for sabbatical, but the new environment caused him to experience a flash heat.
