"Wait. Hold on."
Eddie snaps the bedside lamp back on. Buck looks at him questioningly.
"Buck - " Eddie doesn't want to pry or embarrass Buck. He just can't keep going like everything is fine and he hasn't seen. He makes his voice as gentle as possible.
" - what are these?"
He slowly reaches out and places a hand on Buck's thigh. Right over the rows of cuts that Eddie's never seen before. They're on both legs and some look older than others. Lines overlapping, some crisscrossing, but most in straight even little lines. They're organized.

Buck and Eddie have been dating for a few months and have a nice romantic evening out. When they return to the loft, Eddie discovers the real reason why Buck always insists on having sex with the lights off. Feelings and heart-to-heart conversations happen.
