Deciding to kill yourself does not happen in a day.
Shane Hollander lit his wick the day he discovered hockey.Or maybe he was born burning himself at both ends. He’s always been odd, so it’s not like he had much of a fighting chance. But he thinks if he had never fallen in love with hockey, maybe he wouldn’t have ended up here, or at least he could have delayed the inevitable.
There is no Shane Hollander who doesn’t play hockey, though.
And so maybe, there is no Shane Hollander who doesn’t kill himself. Maybe suicide is just as synonymous with the name Shane Hollander as hockey is.
