“You think Salazar is going to continue without you? The guy needs an audience, you’ve got time.” Unconvinced, but unable to deny the ache in his body, he reclines. Too quickly, as his hand that had absent-mindedly grabbed on to the hem of his leather jacket pulls him down too. Luis catches himself before he crashes, bracing his arms on the gilded edges of the sofa, kneeling thighs interlocked with Leon’s. He goes to push himself off, but Leon grips tighter, manoeuvring the body above him to sit on his lap.
“No… Stay.” A weary voice seeps out, “You’re warm.”-------------

Treat desire as an exploitable human weakness long enough, and eventually the act would become nothing more than an exchange, the hurt after would dull to a manageable ache, even if you were the sort who learned to go numb rather than burn in its wake.
