Summary
Long ago, it was said that the earliest dragons were humans in hiding. The stories told of how there were human beings with wings and fangs, that they possessed power and gifts much like the dragons. The tale spoke of how as the dragons were hunted, most of them turned to flee the earth, seeking refuge on the moon. Where a royal line of dragons; the Moon Dragon, lived and ruled peacefully. And as most of them fled, the story dwindled down to simply being an old wives tale.
However, with Hiccup’s new discovery of befriending Toothless and the relationship between the Vikings and the dragons on the mend, these old tales began to resurface. Most of those who heard it, laughed off the tale. Little did they know, the old legends were only just awakening, and that the chase for the last Moon Dragon had only just begun.

Summary
Thousands of years ago, a nuclear disaster laid waste to the earth. Humanity retreated underground, building bunkers and tunnels to keep themselves safe from the harsh environment and dangerous, mutated creatures that roamed the lands.
Hazel lives in one such bunker, taking care of his little brother Fiver. When Fiver starts having premonitions of disaster, the two of them and a small band of friends leave to search for a new place to call home.
