Summary
The Lan Clan hosts a ceremony to find a mate for Lan Wangji when he starts producing a clutch of eggs. Seeing that Wei Wuxian is under the arriving cultivators, Lan Wangji is full of relief and delight - he wants to mate him and no one else. But the night before the ceremony, Wei Wuxian tells him he has no such intentions. He has only come to the Cloud Recesses to catch up.
This is something Lan Wangji cannot accept.

Sukuna gathers him up in his arms, holding him close. Yuuji breathes in his scent like it's a drug, growing more intoxicated by the minute. "I'm doing this for you. Everything I've done and will do has been for you."
Yuuji grips Sukuna's collar, forcing the alpha's face close to his. Their noses touch as he peers into his blue eyes. He wants to kiss him, but chooses not to. "You've ruined me. If you die, there will be no one else for me. You'd better not die."
