Joel wasn't ready, by any definition of that word, for what life had prepared for him as he strolled out of a class exactly one month after the beginning of term.
He walked out just to find his face on full display for the school to see, huge and framed in gold, a painting hung up on the central wall of their school’s art gallery. The naming plaque beside the painting was blank, just like the artist - though unsigned - was purposefully teasing ‘Come find me.’
Joel couldn’t believe their audacity.
He was once more the center of attention of a plot he didn't know, but he sure as hell wasn't complaining. And if he did know one thing, it was that whoever was inviting him to play this game of hide and seek had no clue what they were signing up for. He’d win; they didn’t stand a chance.
He was Joel Smallishbeans, after all.

Summary
Rudo wished he stayed in bed today.
Suffering from a horrible headache Rudo manages to still get dragged out of his room and onto a mission by none other than his mentor and teacher, Zanka. The prick had a way of making him actually want to learn something, a skill truly necessary when dealing with teenagers, especially one such as Rudo.
Loading into the company van team Akuta gets to hear about supposedly smart trash beasts, unknowing of what lay in wait and unsuspecting of the grousome injury one of them was about to suffer.

Rudo gets horribly injured on a job, is a little spitefull shit about it, and realises that maybe Zanka isn't all that bad of a guy.OR, OR:

“What are you doing?” Enjin asked loud enough that Rudo would hear him.
Rudo jumped at the sound of Enjin’s voice, his hands held out like he was about to karate-chop whoever his scarer was away. He turned around with a panicked look to his red eyes that faded at the corners when he saw it was just Enjin. Relaxing, Rudo slouched in on himself. “Don’t scare me like that, turdface,” Rudo grumbled.
“My question still stands,” Enjin said, placing an elbow on the ledge and perching his cheek on it. “What are you doing?”
“I couldn’t sleep,” Rudo admitted, sighing heavily.

Zanka falls ill, but him being ill has never been a terribly big deal, so he goes about his day... at least, until he gets knocked flat on his feet. At least the others are there to give a gentle reminder that being sick isn't a weakness you must overcome.
(Everyone's got a bad habit of not sitting when they need to sit, but at least everyone is there for each other to help aid and catch the other. They look out for each other. It's how family works.)

Etho rounded a corner and blinked, startling as he stopped dead. The figure was nowhere to be seen. He hesitated before looking down a darkened alley, just a stretch of dirt between two rickety storefronts. No one. Etho’s brows furrowed.
Without warning, a body crashed into him from behind, pinning him against the sun-bleached siding before he could blink. There was a tense and breathless shuffle that ended in one of Etho’s arms twisted up behind his back, and the other trapped between his torso and the wall itself. A hand slapped roughly over his sides, patting him down until it found his holster, and then scrambling under his coat to pull out the six-shooter, cock it, and point it at the back of his head.
“What do you want,” the figure behind him growled.
“Hi Tango,” said Etho, breathlessly.

Summary
Jazz attempts to reach over Prowls back to the little side table. It doesn't work, of course. The table is too far. But Jazz tries again anyway, mumbling something Prowl can't be bothered to decipher and pressing his chassis to Prowl's side, awkwardly maneuvering around Prowl's wings in order to not crush them. As a result Prowl begins to slide along the berth again, his body being subtly shifted with Jazz’s efforts. He finds he does not mind, but he hopes that Jazz will be done soon, because he really does want to go back to recharging and the alarm really is getting repetitive.
Then Jazz lunges.
In which Jazz and Prowl have the morning off and (try) to catch up on some much needed couple's time. Too bad they're absolutely hopeless together.
