Moon and Sun are written heavily well. I love Suns little flirts and that Moon isn't just a gremlin, he can also be nice and protective in his own way. And I heavily relate to the character we play as down to the way we have outbursts and immediately regret said outbursts (it's a struggle fr). Love love love!

Time passes. You hear stories of monsters, Sirens in the water, one that is a good omen if spotted, promising your safe voyage as long as you respect the rules of the ocean, and one that sinks ships and eats people for fun. Just folktales meant to scare children.
A decade later, they return the favor, though they don't plan on leaving you so easily this time.

This is kinda self-insert/oc-insert. I have a character named Claire that I made for things like this. So I can adjust her personality to fit the story, but for most of this she's a representation of me (with creative liberties taken about family and current place of residence).
That doesn't mean others can't place themselves into the story! Like I said, Claire's a placeholder. I'm sure plenty of people have experienced things similar to me, so if you wanna see this as yourself, go for it!

When you wander the shore near your hotel, during the day or at night, you start to find little trinkets here and there, along with an occasional dead sea creature. With nowhere else to go, Riley returns to the place they spent their childhood- Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. When they discover that something is very wrong with the animatronics, they're forced to take shelter in the Superstar Daycare.
Considering that their favorite hobby has always been analyzing how animatronics work and think, Riley is thrilled at the chance to get to know the Daycare Attendant. Too bad everything had to go wrong first for them to get here. At least they're safe in the daycare, right? No health and safety hazards here in the Superstar Daycare absolutely none no siree.
AKA mostly a whole lot of playing with and getting to know Sun- As long as the lights stay on, anyway.

I love that Shira focuses on Sundrop tbh, I've noticed Moon gets a lot of attention in most fics, which is great! but I love seeing more of Sunny and I've definitely grown more attached to him as a character because of this fic -

It was probably all very silly, considering the precarious situation I found myself in, but it really was all I could think about.
Could you really blame me? I never expected to find myself in this kind of a mess. I was not some big shot, thrill seeking space explorer. I was no seasoned freight worker. No avid alien world survivalist. Not even a simple cruise liner flight attendant.
