Summary
Jean Grey is an astrophysicist working for a private institute run by wealthy geneticist Charles Xavier and his longtime partner Mr Lehnsherr. After becoming obsessed with a series of signals picked up by the institute's radio telescope, she convinces Xavier to let her investigate.
Jean thought that humans understood the nature of space, but her findings lead her to believe that she's not only just scratched the surface of her understanding of the stars, but of her own mind.

For Fenn, it's the sense of purpose he's been chasing since the Imperial takeover of Mandalore. For Bo-Katan, it's some assurance that her days alone are ending. The Darksaber is a heavy burden to carry, and it's nice to not have to carry it alone.

A peace treaty between the Mandalorians and the Jedi has led to an influx of force-sensitive Mandalorian children. The two cultures have never exactly gotten along, and complex issues are rapidly forming, all centred around Jedi Master Pre Vizsla. Bo-Katan and Alrich are already having a difficult time balancing their studies, their relationships, and the prospect of the rest of their lives as Jedi. Pre's plans don't make that any easier.
(Aka. my first attempt at an au, using my favorite polycule and putting them all through hell)
Tentative update schedule of Wednesdays and Saturdays, but I sometimes write a LOT in one go so updates may be more or less frequent depending on what life throws at me.

1933: Bessie and Howard Slora travel to the Canadian Rockies to undertake a project of epic proportions. Hundreds of workers are hired, Albert, Cecil, and Matthew among them. Work begins on the project that will put the Sloras in the history books.
2021: Three young explorers, Grace, Lara, and Finley, set off to investigate the long sealed-off tunnels of the Slora project. Grace is going for the history. Lara is going for Grace. Finley is going for his brother, who ventured into the mountain years ago, never to be heard from again.
The mountain sealed itself off years ago. Maybe it wasn't meant to be reopened.
