"Moy lyubimiy, I did not stay to chat, is bad manners," Ilya sighed, pulling his Omega against his chest despite the grumbling. "I will give very stern talking to later. No one will ever dare to get off in showers but us."

Or, Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov are leading the centaurs to their second Stanley Cup and enjoying a love lived out in the open. It's not always easy. Ilya's still learning to be an Alpha. Shane's still learning to let him. Luca Haas is still a busy body and Troy Barrett definitely needs therapy, but everyone is working on it. The alpha’s eyes darkened slightly at the lie.
Behind him, another man approached quickly. Similar features. Older. Scar across his jaw. “Pakhan,” he said quietly in Russian before glancing toward Shane. “We should leave.”
Pakhan.

Shane’s stomach dropped.
Everyone in Boston knew whispers about the Russian Bratva operating through the city.
About the Rozanovs.
Especially after Alexei Rozanov had died last year. The power vacuum afterward had filled the streets with nothing but blood and torture.
The alpha still hadn’t looked away from Shane. “What is your name?”
“…Shane.”
“Shane.” He repeated it carefully, like tasting something expensive. “Ilya Rozanov.”
The name hit like ice water.

Summary
Shane Hollander is 18 years old and a beta when he first competes at World Juniors in Saskatchewan. Shane's only expectation is to bring home gold. Instead, Shane unexpectedly presents as an omega during the gold medal game against Russia. Luckily, his rival Ilya Rozanov is there to help Shane, which is a good thing because Shane knows nothing about being an omega. Rozanov kindly offers to extend his stay to help Shane through his first heat.
Only months later, Shane discovers that he came home with a whole lot more than a silver medal and an unwanted new designation. Somehow he's carrying the baby of a man who lives on the other side of the world. A man who never offered his phone number and doesn't have any social media to speak of.
Somehow Shane is going to have to find a way to explain why he's suddenly pulling out of the 2009 draft, come to terms with giving up hockey and caring for a baby completely alone. All while desperately wishing he could share the joys of first smiles and the stress of sleepless nights with the alpha he's never quite been able to forget.

Shane gets pregnant the first time they meet, but doesn't find out until Ilya is back in Russia with no way to contact him.
