Aizawa hums. Hanta looks down, rubbing the back of his neck.

As a matter of luck?” Aizawa’s hand settles onto Hanta’s shoulder, warm in contrast to the cool air of the night. “We’ve been training specifically to eliminate luck from the equation, Sero. It wasn’t luck that allowed you to stay focused, or for your aim to be accurate, or for you to act without hesitation.”
Hanta meets his gaze, and swallows hard. “It wasn’t?”

Being a lone vigilante is hard, alright? Between being Spider-Man, grad school, and his job at the Bugle, Peter really doesn't have time for friends. So when Deadpool starts to tag along on his patrols more and more often, Peter really doesn't object as much as he thinks he should. “Take a wild guess on that one and get back to me,” The boy teased, his eyes not once leaving Wade’s.
Wade’s heart did a little flutter. “Well, I’ll need a number for that one.”
“We’ll see about that one. I’ve heard I’ll be stuck with you for a week, so maybe you’ll get it if you’re good.”
