Summary
After stumbling upon a new subsection of the fandom, and reading as much of it as I could. There were lines in some of the works I read that triggered ideas in my head, so I decided to write my own.
This is my first fanfic in the Harry Potter fandom, and my second fanfic ever. This is not beta read, so I make no promises about quality.
This is my take on "What if the basilisk bite itself was plenty to trigger the inheritance?", followed up by "Since he's already had his inheritance a year before, what if the attack by a swarm of dementors at the end of Prisoner of Azkaban triggered a soul scream?"

Summary
Based around There Be Dragons, Harry and the Dragel Universe by Scioneeris.
What if the ritual from the Graveyard causes a crack in Harry's Creature Inheritance Seal? Harry would have the shattering of that very Seal when he comes face to face with a Dementor after it takes Barty Crouch Jr.'s soul. Harry is having strange dreams of a handsome stranger who reveals to him all about being a Dragel.
Harry returns to Hogwarts as a Submissive Dragel, still unsure of the world around him. Now, he has to deal with Umbridge's Blood Quill and Snape's Occlumency lessons. But what happens when the torture of both of those breaks something more? Harry gives a Soulcry.
But no Alpha appears. Harry now learns that he must Hunt for an Alpha lest his new Circle become unbalanced.
