Summary
“What’s the plan?”
“I don’t know…”
“Well we’ve kind of just kidnapped a boy, Remus, so if you could come up with a plan—!”
“I don’t know James! I’m trying, okay—?!”
“G-guys—! He’s waking up!”
“Hello? Are you… alright? M-my name is Remus Lupin… I’m really sorry… but I hit you with my truck.”
“Well, now we’re definitely going to prison.”
———
Remus Lupin isn’t the type to drive under the influence. Yet here he was — in the dead of night, during a storm, on a dark country road — standing over the body of a boy he’s just hit with his truck. When the boy wakes with no memory of who he is, Remus offers to take him in until he recovers.
But something isn’t adding up. And Remus can’t shake the feeling that the boy’s past is far darker, and closer, than he’s currently letting on.
———
Sirius Black isn’t suffering from amnesia. Not really. He’s lying.Because, really, he’s running — hiding from his family who insist they’re only trying to save his soul.
And Sirius can’t go back. He won’t. Not now that he’s had a taste of freedom.

Summary
“Remus bit his lip, unable to contain his smile as he stared down at the magazine spread before him. He didn’t usually buy magazines of this calibre— preferring to read a good old fashioned newspaper or National Geographic. But when Sirius — the man he was currently, casually, seeing — had mentioned he was going to be featured, well, Remus couldn’t help but be curious.”
***
Remus Lupin, a divorced, single parent and History teacher, has caught feelings for Sirius Black — an up and coming model who he has been casually seeing.
Which is fine! How could he not catch feelings for such a beautiful, charming, man?
The issue is… he hasn’t told Sirius about Teddy. His son.

Summary
Sirius Black, self-proclaimed drama queen and No.1 disaster, is drunk. Very drunk. Like quoting Muggle literature level drunk.
That means it’s up to Remus Lupin, proud nerd and Marauder’s nanny, to put him to bed.
Easier said than done…
Or: This story takes place just after chapter 6 in part one of the series! For context, I recommend reading that chapter but can be read as a standalone considering it’s written in Remus’s POV.

Summary
“Come here, kid.” One of Robby’s hands catches Dennis’s and lands against his sternum, trapping his arm against his chest, while the other stays in his hair, fingers winding into damp curls. Dennis’s attention is everywhere and panicked. He catches a flash of Perlah readying the needle and a desperate sound punches out of him.
“Nope, don’t look at that,” Robby says, using the hand in his hair to force his head back, angling his vision away from the commotion and up towards him. Dennis’s eyes lock onto his, pupils blown wide. “Look at me. Yep, good. I’m right here. You’re doing so good, honey. Just keep those eyes on me.”
The IV tourniquet snaps into place and panic flashes anew in Dennis’s face. ”Robby—”
“I know. It’s just Dana and Perlah. We’re just pushing some fluids, no more drugs. You’re safe.” Out of the corner of his eye, Robby can see Perlah speeding through what has to be the fastest IV placement of her career, Dana keeping her grip on Dennis’s hand to stop him from jerking away. Dana shoots him a glance of warning and Robby tightens his hold. “Okay, quick poke now. Still just us. Deep breath, Dennis. I've got you."
***
Dennis gets drugged by a patient and has a bad trip.

Summary
“I haven’t really been to a wedding where I’ve, uh… let loose. But, hey,” Dennis shrugged, “maybe I’m doing it wrong.”
“If I hadn’t already agreed to go to this conference, I’d offer to go with you,” Robby said casually. “Show you how it’s done. I’ve got a good track record as a plus-one, too.” Dennis had to say something. To interrupt. To shut this down. But what was he supposed to say? No, you can’t be my plus one, because I lied about my cousin, and there is no wedding, and it seems a little weird to bring a date to a fucking funeral– “Apparently parents love it when you bring home a doctor.”
And just like that, the bubble popped.
“I’m not gay,” Dennis snapped.
He had never hated the sound of his own voice as much as he did right then.
---
Or, Dennis is anxiously headed home for a "wedding" in Broken Bow, Nebraska, the details of which are increasingly fuzzy. Robby's got a medical conference in Omaha that same weekend. So they carpool. Seventeen hours both ways in an enclosed space with no way out except a tuck and roll. This'll go great.- Language:

Summary
Sirius had always been told he’d never be a well adjusted adult, it required maturity and discipline not one person in his life believed he’d possess. He was too ‘spirited’, they said, as if he was a wild foal or phoenix. But, so far, he quite liked it.
TLDR: Sirius Black gets worse before he gets better.
