Summary
The door opens.
Claire chokes. Ryland is standing there in blue PJ pants and an oversized PBS t-shirt. He's rubbing his eyes, which are missing his glasses, which makes it even more obvious how similar they look. When his hand falls away, Six watches him process what is standing at his door. His eyes go from Six, down to Claire, then back up to Six.
He laughs, high and stressed, then closes the door in their face.
OR, Six needs help taking care of Claire after they break free from their respective jails. He decides that his younger brother Ryland Grace is the solution.

Summary
Less than three weeks before launch, Ryland Grace is told he's humanity's last hope. He responds by climbing out a second-story window on broken ribs.
Eva Stratt immediately sends a team to drag him back, but they somehow end up kidnapping a very confused stuntman named Colt Seavers instead. Out of time and out of patience, Stratt hires the Gray Man to hunt down the correct twin and fix the mess.

Summary
Glenn had never been taught to be wary of perverted older men.
Boys didn’t have to worry about those kinds of things, especially boys that were big for their age. Standing exactly six feet tall at the age of sixteen, no one messed with Glenn. He wasn’t even particularly strong, in fact, it’d be more accurate to describe him as scrawny, but his height made a difference in how people perceived him; how he perceived himself for that matter.
He’d never been targeted by bullies or creeps. He’d always been the one to step in when anyone was messing with his friends or siblings. He was a protector by nature, he didn’t need protecting.
It’s no surprise there was no one there to protect him when he needed it the most.
