Summary
The crux of the matter is that Kakashi’s old. By the time he finally gives up the hat, he’s nearly forty and growing older, and while he’s faced death too many times to still remember to fear it, he certainly thinks about it. He can’t help it. He blames the Nidaime — staring at Senju Tobirama’s reanimated face reminds Kakashi of everything that will die with him: his clan, their history, an entire generation. The realization leaves him unsettled, and as his body starts to ache more and more, he finds himself wishing for a world in which he isn’t so alone.
Or, Kakashi returns to the Hatake compound in an attempt to speak with his ancestors and promptly forgets that the Hiraishin is, above all else, an experimental time/space jutsu. By activating it, he finds himself in a world not quite like his own.

Bookmarker's Notes
Was appalled to realise I hadn't bookmarked already when I came back for a reread bc this fic had been on my mind non-stop since I started and caught up
Like...holy shit
I've seen this concept so many times and usually enjoy it but this utterly blew me away with it's creative ideas and it's weighty emotions and the thorough filling-in of gaps in canon narrative to flesh everything out. The family feels especially are incredibly strong, or maybe I should say pack feels so I can include Kakashi's friends.
Not to mention I've NEVER seen Rin and Obito handled like this and while I'm still open for the usual sorts of interpretations of them I'm now obsessed with this angle and DESPERATE for more! -

Summary
Qifrey hates water.
Vinanna tries to teach him how to swim.
Aka: this started with me trying to work out what animal was on Beldaruit's bed in chapter 34 and deciding 'Vinanna has an owlcat and she (affectionately) dumps it on Beldaruit sometimes' and then a secondary plot appeared.

Summary
It was better for all involved if Senju Butsuma let the world think he’d had four sons for as long as possible. In truth, it wasn’t until his third child that he had a boy—and this changes things.
These changes in the Senju sisters’ and Uchiha brothers’ dynamics lead to very different circumstances surrounding Konoha’s founding. One stipulation for two clans entering a historic alliance while on equal footing?
Marriage.
And unfortunately, it can’t be between the ones who’d want it.
---
Or: Hashirama and Tobirama being women changes just enough that Izuna is spared—but when that means being married to his rival while waiting for Madara and Hashirama's peace experiment to blow up in their faces, maybe Izuna really would’ve preferred death. Tobirama isn’t thrilled, either. It’s a long road toward marital bliss.

Summary
Satoru lives weathering the past and the future. His objectives are still the same (change Jujutsu Society, find allies, don’t let rotten traditionalists on seats of power,
ignore Suguru’s memory), and they are hard to do.His only ally is seven years old.
Shoko never goes beyond what’s required of her and he’s not bitter about that. Not at all. Yaga-sensei is a double agent these days and Nanami wants to be a white-collar worker. Ijichi is Ijichi.
He lives in a routine he once swore to never follow. Satoru is resilient, though. He can exorcise any Cursed Spirit even if he hasn't slept in days.
His routine is disrupted when people are abducted and then returned without memories. But, they are unharmed. It occurs for days.
Satoru is the only one who can see how the sky changed when it all started.
There are no leads until Utahime goes missing.
Satoru lives looking only at the past and the future.
He’s forced to focus on the present after he makes a Binding Vow with an ancient fox.
Maybe he should have thought about that Binding more because what’s he supposed to do when his new ward is a freaking ninja?
